We have $19,230 in the bank. Most of the expenses have been paid, except for about $6,000. Going forward we should have about $10,000.

Agreed that we do not allocate for the school year ‘08-‘09.

Barb suggested we allocate an additional $1,000 for a second scholarship. We decided not to do this at this point. We will explore this in the future. Barb said that benefit committee recommends not continuing with the PTO benefit.

5. Roundtable on the Role of PTO
We discussed possible roles of the PTO. Barb said she would be willing to stay involved in the summer. Barb suggested that if we could get five people who wish to be involved, they could decide what the PTO would do. We discussed the idea of having an executive committee instead of officers.

Dr. Weninger and school board has invited all parent groups to come to a school board meeting to explain what the organization does. Barb will sign up for September to give us time to decide on our roles.
