PTO Meeting

Have a Great Summer

  • Volunteer Board
  • What will PTO be next year?

It's up to you. Will you step up to become a part of the Executive Board?

We have discussed moving to a Leadership Committee of 6-8 to create and direct the activities. To fill out the Board Committee we need a Co-Chair(s), a Secretary, a Program Chair, a Liaison Co-Chair, and a Fundraising Coordinator.

Without volunteer leadership, there will be no PTO 2008 - 2009. PTO is evolving and you can have a voice and create it's future role.

Please consider the benefits of being involved in PTO. You network with other parents and administrators, you learn what a student's day is like, you work with students... each of these connections builds your knowledge of the school. Through PTO you can share that knowledge and experience with other parents, make new friends, and become aware of different perspectives. The time commitment is as little as an hour or two a month, sometimes 1 -2 hours a week, or 2-3 days a week once every 3 months.

We have each been glad that we made the time to commit to PTO (over 25 years experience between us). We encourage you to do the same. It is only through involved families that we are able to enhance the high school experience for our students. We encourage you to contact any one of us for more information and to answer your questions. Read More
